Yesterday, after my depressing doctor appointment, I managed to get quite a bit of wedding stuff done. I ordered the cake topper, unity candle, ring bearer gift and the flower girl gifts. It sucked that I had to get them online and that they're not sold in a store around here, because in total, I spent about $40 in shipping fees. Geez oh Pete! It's craziness. After I got done ordering that stuff online, I went to Hobby Lobby and got some ribbon to finish the bubbles and for the favors, a card/wishing well box, which I'm then going to use for wedding mementos. And I got a couple of tapered candles and a holder to go along with the unity candle. Today when I get home I'm going to organize the wedding stuff and then finish the bubbles and get them washed up. One of them leaked in shipping, so they're all gummy on the outside of the tube. =P Yeah, I'll be cleaning those up so they're nice and clean for people. =)
Not much else yesterday, other than the fact that I was frustrated about money. I talked to Myles and he told me to go ahead and order the stuff I needed to and to go to the store and get that stuff, and then when I got home, it was almost like he was mad at me for doing it. *sigh* It just feels sometimes like I can't win either way. I don't like spending the money, either, but we have to. It's not a choice anymore, and I couldn't/can't put it off anymore. It all has to be done. It's really frustrating. I understand that he's worried/upset about money, and I hate having to ask him to spend it, but I wish he'd look at this from my side every once in a while. We chose to have this wedding, and now it has to get done. D-Day is rapidly approaching and I'm running out of time to get it done. He's not helping right now. *sigh*

My motherhood steps in the way... Grace started school, my 8 yr old, so I'm now in transit for the school day. This gets concerning to me.
I did get my list written up of finals, and have started marking things off. Yesterday was an exciting wedding day process for me. Bridal shower beverages have been chosen. We will have a signature party punch, and sangria.
I am trying to come up with some food that is also signature and LITE for Tera! Not only do we have cake to eat, but snacks for lunch stuff...needs to be lite so we don't get all fat for our dresses.
So I finally got the bags for the shower gifts so I can get them bagged. It's going to be fun, because by the time the shower gets here, I'll have forgotten what's in them. I even packed a few of them last night.
I want to do a sort of white elephant gift giving, "hence using ELEPHANT" with the Prizes. Where when people win them, without looking at the gift, they have the option to TRADE with another person to get something more interesting. LOLOLOL... Gifts will not be allowed to be open until the end of the party. And then it is also the opportunity for the persons to choose to give the bride a gift, and choose another. But no one can have more than one gift at a time! I still haven't decided wether or not letting a person open the gift would be more interesting or not...we'll see. LOLOL
The following people have RSVP'd for the party:
Darsha
Me
Tera
Rebecca Cox
Heather Hassenplug
Kelley Cuskaden
Sarah Cuskaden
Sally Wegnerowski
Deanna Wegnerowski
Zelma Yoder
Joann Scheittecatte
Connie Young
Dawn Cuskaden
Emily Haines
***I am trying very hard to keep track of everything. I finished invites for the added festivities for the bachlorette party. I will have to drop them off to the other maid of honor tomorrow.
It was an exciting day, because we are in the final process. I've got many plans to finish up, and "production week" is going to be a blast. From the cake to all of the other things we have planned!!!!
