Day "It's Almost Here!"
So, the wedding has changed. =P Ann and Samantha are out. Ann pulled Samantha to be vindictive bitch, but it's all good, because we still have Kevin and Dawn's daughter, Ashley. I feel sorry for Brian, though. Man. To make a long story short, Ann screwed up my bachelorette party in a big way, expected ME to call HER about it, and then sent me an email pretty much blaming it all on me. I emailed her back and told her exactly how I feel and what she sent me back was pretty much craziness. It's pretty funny when the world's most self-centered person tells you that you are selfish and that you expect the world to revolve around you. Hahahaha. But really, it's all good. I haven't wanted her in the wedding for a while now, and she's the one who's out all the money for being a bitch...150 for her dress about about the same for Samantha's. And whatever else she may have bought. She can burn the dresses for all I care. Tonight I'll be going through and tossing any pictures I have of her and the kids. She wants me out of her daughter's life, fine. I love that kid to death and I feel sorry for her, having to grow up with a mom like Ann. It'll be a blessed day when Brian finally leaves her ass. So yeah, we'll have an uneven wedding party, but I'm completely cool with that. I'd rather have all the people I care about up there instead of her. We;ve been growing more distant for some time, and I guess I just never realized how volatile the situation really was. But, it's all good now. I feel absolutely no stress and I can move on and have no tension on my wedding day, considering my mom can't stand her, and for good reason. I need to just start paying some attention when my mom doesn't like people. LOL It's usually a darn good indicator. hahahah.
Day "It's Really Close Now!"
Wow. It's here practically. I'm so excited and I'm not worried about anything. I hada snafu with a bridesmaid this weekend, well, she was a maid of honor, but she has since been downgraded, but that's a story for another time. Let's just say she made her bed and she has to lie in it and I feel like a weight has been lifted off my chest when it comes to that situation. I'm not worried about her behavior on the wedding day...if she knows what's good for her, she'll keep quiet and be on her best behavior. Or I'll sic Doug or Dawn on her. And anyone who knows Doug knows how intimidating and scary he can be. LOLOL
I'm pretty much stress free and it's great. This week will just be wrapping up all the loose ends and making some phone calls, but it's all good. We'll be getting the favors all tied up and ready and stuff, and yeah. I'm so excited for the wedding. =) Tonight we go to the church to meet with Fulk, our DJ, and Joe, our minister, to work out the flow of things and such. It'll be all good. Then cleaning the house tonight and tomorrow night and Wednesday people start coming. lol

Day 25
So yesterday I made all of our major appointments for this week, so that was a little bit of time on the phone setting that up. I also typed up the poem Misty wrote for the wedding favors to get it all laid out and decide just exactly how small I can make it and so on and so forth.
The biggest thing that happened yesterday was Myles spending a big part of the evening up at his computer, going through Joe Satriani songs for the wedding. There is one we're going to play at the end of the ceremony and then he's chosen a slew of them to be played pre-dinner and during dinner, before the dancing music starts and stuff. I thought it was really awesome that My went upstairs when he got home from work and just did it. =) It meant a lot to me that he put that much time and energy into it without me saying a word. =)
That was about it for yesterday, but like I said before, the closer we get, the more there will be. Today (day 24) we meet with the wedding photographer after work and will probably have to give him our first unborn child. Or maybe it's our second. I know that the Holiday Inn Select gets one and the photographer gets the other. Still haven't worked out all the details, but I'm sure someone will be there to cart them off as I pop them out. Or something like that.
Anywho, hopefully all goes well with the photographer and we get all that figured out, without Myles discussing too much side stuff with the guy. =) Everytime we're there, they get into these long conversations. Sigh. But, oh well.

Day 78
Since Misty just reminded me that I had done this for day 79, I figured I'd better get on it. =)
The first wedding thing I did today was talk to Myles. Recently, he has been completely ignoring me or acting annoyed when I bring anything regarding the wedding up. With only two and a half months to go, I need him to take part. I know he's got the rental stuff going and he has a lot on my mind, but I need his input and his help. We agreed on work and rentals during the day and wedding in the evening. =) A small victory but one I am very pleased with.
I also called our minister up and made our first appointment with him. He wants us to do a couple of counseling sessions, and I'm actually curious to see how those turn out. We're going to be doing the first one on Monday Aug. 4. We'll be going over the wedding vows we chose, too.
Myles and I also discussed attendent gift. I'll be getting my girls gifts, but Myles has decided he's not going to do any for the guys. "Guys just don't give a shit about stuff like that." I guess he has a point there. Plus, they're his attendents and his choice, so whatever. =P I had chosen the gift for mine, but after all the "hidden" costs (engraving fees, shipping & handling and the like) it's just going to be WAY more money than I had budgeted. So, I spent yesterday evening looking for alternatives. I found some good ones, but I need to think about them and look some more. I really liked my first choice, and since Myles isn't doing gifts, I might be able to fudge the budget a little, but we'll see. I'm going to keep looking. =)

Day 93
Nothing major today. I put the invitations in the mail today, so people should be getting them by Monday at the latest. Woo hoo! Then I'll get RSVP cards to see who's coming. =)
The only other wedding thing today was that my flower girl baskets came in. I love them! One is a gold/cream color and the other is a maroon color. They match the wedding, and they're simple enough and not all frilly that I'll be able to do something with them to decorate the house after the wedding. So, that's always good. If I have to spend money, I want to be able to use what I buy after the wedding...for the most part. There are things I won't be able to use, but I'm going to try and do something with as much of it as I can. Hell, I'm gonna try and do something with the red and ivory silk rose petals, too. =P Gotta make the most out of our money.
Not sure what other wedding stuff this week other than shoes and a dress fitting. And I HATE dress fittings. Last time it zipped but was tight, so I'm crossing my fingers that it's a bit looser this time than it was before. Eek. But hey, I've been trying to do some desk exercises at work throughout the day and I did weights for my arms this evening. I'll probably do another couple of sets before I go to bed, too. I know that desk exercises aren't as good as "real" cardio, but it's better than nothing, since I have to sit there all day. And my main concern for the wedding is my arms. *sigh* Boobs = back fat and easier-to-get flabby arms. There just ain't much that can be done about it. I'll always fight it.
I forgot to mention last night that I got kind of emotional, in a bad way, when talking to Myles about the wedding. But it wasn't so much emotional as it was frustration. He's been complaining about paying for wedding stuff, yet he put me in charge of the wedding finances. But he complains whenever I ask him to transfer money. I've asked him about five times, literally, to transfer money for my shoes on Saturday and for a couple of other things. Yesterday, I asked if he'd done it and, of course, the answer was no. Then he asked me how much he needed to transfer! A lot of the time with this wedding stuff, it's like he doesn't even listen or pay attention. And it's sooooo frustrating for me to have to go everything over and over and over again. I'm not saying I want him to be all gung-ho and involved...weddings are NOT a guy thing unless they are gay or serious romantics or metrosexuals. If you have a guy that's involved, you're lucky. I just want My to help with what little I ask him and work with me instead of ignoring me and making me repeat myself over and over. It's really really frustrating.
