Day 88
Um...Not really much for me today. I spent a lot of time talking to Misty about wedding stuffs, but I didn't actually DO anything. =) I think I updated my task checklist, but again, I really did think or do anything about it. The only thing I was really thinking about is the fact that there is stuff I still need to order, but Myles is being a pain about it and is telling me to wait until August. =P And I was thinking that I hope we don't have to drive the cake topper out to the cake lady, because she lives WAY out in BFE. Like, past Attica. And I thought about whether to wear thigh highs or "full" panty hose under my dress, but I know you were all dying to know that. Come on, you can't deny it. I know you were. All in all, not so much of a big wedding planning day other than talking about stuffs with Misty. And I know she's going to comment on this and give her two cents about doing all sorts of stuffs. LOL And she's not lying. She's been doing a hell of a lot and I couldn't ask for a better best friend or maid of honor. No way no how. =) I love my Misty!!!!

Oh, my Tera...she is sooo right about me commenting on this stuff. Well I got the bridal shower invitations sent out. And yes I sent them to Myles's family too. In respect and honor, I am having them contribute to it, even if they cannot make it, and that's the best part. :0) Something extra special for Tera and Myles combined. It's eating her alive (she wants to know). I cannot wait to receive RSVP's out the whazoo before too long. :0)
I got to talk to Darsha about wedding stuffs too. I think I produced more of a schedule for myself yesterday than I had before, and this became overwhelming to the point that I got bummed last night. :0P But it is a good kind of bummed.
From the bridal shower planning and theme with mom (Darsha) to the chocolates for the favors, to the bridal shower cakes, and the many (birthday cakes in the fall) that I always have to do. To being there for the bachlorette party, and the rehearsal dinner and all the other good stuffs. Yeah. It's coming. And all at the same time. :0)
I'm so excited to do all of this stuff, but I still have to wait. I'm best when I work under pressure, I always have, that's not the issue. But I told David last night that September and October will revolve around Tera, and there's no doubt about it.:0) I just hope Myles realizes that 140 people to prepare for is a big job, and waiting too long, can be in no uncertain terms a disaster. I prepared for 45 people wedding in one month's time, it's much different for 140. But I do have faith he realizes much of this. :0)
I've come up in no uncertain terms of many good ideas for things to come, but if I embellish upon them here, then good ol' Tera will know before it's time. I still have to plan the design on her shower cake though, and that's going to be fun to do. So I'll be doing that in the next few days.
I was also bummed because I spent my entire day talking and dealing and emailing, and scheduling her wedding stuffs. :0) I failed to get my own housework done, that's what made me bummed...Did I mention I'm redoing my house, painting, repairs, and etc...all in the midst of this. Before my daughter goes back to school in August? LOL Yeah what was I thinking. Then we are meeting with a FSBO house at 6 tuesday evening to view a property we might buy? So my kitchen remodel/redecorating project is yet to be finished that I started last week. LOL Yeah, I said I work well under pressure right? LOL
Okay, so enough said....we'll see what happens tomorrow!
